The timing of all episodes of the season 8 of the Game of Thrones is known.

The timing of all episodes of Season 8 of Game of Thrones became known thanks to the official HBO broadcast schedule. This is especially interesting in connection with the promise to release very long episodes that will resemble full films. For fans of the series, there are two news: bad and good.

Two long and two short

The bad news is that none of the six episodes of the last season of the most iconic series of our time will be longer than the longest episode of the previous one - “The Dragon and the Wolf” (season 7). Recall that its duration was 1 hour 20 minutes. This is the absolute record of the whole show! The eighth season will not be able to beat him, contrary to promises.

The good news is that among the final six episodes, there are two “heavyweights” of 80 minutes each. Moreover, these will be the last two episodes of the season (5 and 6, respectively). And series 4 will lag behind the record "Dragon and the Wolf" by only 2 minutes (78 minutes).

There is, however, one more bad news. The first two series do not even reach the usual hour of screen time. Their timing is only 54 and 58 minutes. But we will not judge the series by timing. The episode "Trophies of War" lasted only some 50 minutes, but how much pleasure he brought us. He is considered one of the best episodes in the history of the show.

The series will begin to lengthen from episode 3. It will last exactly an hour. According to many sources, it is in this episode that a large-scale battle scene will occur. There is no doubt that it will be a battle for Winterfel. But, apparently, the struggle with the King of the Night will not end there.
