There is very little left until the end of the magnificent series “Game of Thrones”, the premiere of the last season in Russia starts on April 15 (the world release date is April 14, but due to the difference in time zones, in Russia fans of the series will be able to see 1- episode 8 of season 15). Many viewers are interested in what events will happen in the finale with their favorite characters, there are many theories about this.
Let's look at one of them: what will happen to Bran Stark in the 8th season of Game of Thrones.
The three-eyed raven was and remains one of the most mysterious characters of the entire saga "Ice and Fire." And the fact that Bran Stark has now become them only fuels the interests of the audience, because they don’t know why they chose the young Stark as this role.
Interestingly, George Martin himself at the premiere of the first episode of the 8th season interested all fans, saying that the fate of the Three-Eyed Raven was what shocked him the most in the new season (this will radically differ from the book story).
Interesting: What was shown in the 1st series of the finale of the Game of Thrones is the impression of journalists.
As you know, the Three-Eyed Raven has long pursued Bran Stark in his dreams. Before he took this title, the raven was an old man whose body was firmly braided by the roots of trees. It was this old man (many believe that it was Brinden Rivers, the bastard of Eigon IV, who had once been exiled to the Night Watch, after which he disappeared without a trace), who, according to him, watched Bran for several thousand years.
But what is it for him?
There can be several answers here:
- Firstly, Rivers was looking for a receiver with the same capabilities, and secondly, there is the fact that Bran’s body is a vessel into which the soul of the former Three-Eyed Raven will pass over time (which proves his cold, alienated behavior and the absence of almost any emotions in season 7).
- There is also an option where the Three-Eyed Raven, who once disappeared behind the wall, really only serves the King of the Night: it was he who brought Bran to him when the leader of the others put his mark on that, which would gradually turn it into a walker (and maybe even in the new King of the Night!). So, perhaps, it was this label that radically changed Bran Stark and caused his metamorphosis - and all this happened thanks to the Three-Eyed Raven, without which young Stark and the King of the Night would never have met. A very unexpected turn, which would have perplexed the author of the Song of Ice and Fire, George Martin.
- Another shocking version - the Three-Eyed Raven waiting in the cave and the young Bran Stark - is one and the same person, that is, Bran once made a certain fatal mistake that placed him in a cave sprouting with roots outside of time. From that moment, he simply waited for the new Bran Stark to be born, and did everything to meet them, but when this happened, the old raven did not have time to transfer all his skills to the receiver, and therefore could not protect him from all the same mistakes, which means repeating the story in the finale and the cycle of events. This will be confirmed by the fact that the Raven did not want the Stark to intervene in the events of the past in the moment near the Tower of Joy.
And finally, Brindon Rivers, combining the blood of the Targaryen and the first people, wants to help, with the help of Bran, John Snow, who is also one of the descendants of the Targaryen and the first people (Starks). That is why old Raven showed Bran who John is, so that he would help him conquer the rightful throne.
Of course, all these versions are only guesses of the fans, and we will see the true fate of Bran Stark in the 8th season of the Game of Thrones, which will be released in Russia on April 15.
